Blind CV & profiles
Blind CVs and client-ready profiles, in your template
Upload any CV and get a blind CV or a named candidate profile in your template, or your client’s, in your client’s language, ready for your recruiter to check and share.
What is a blind CV?
A blind CV is a candidate’s CV with the details that identify them removed: name, contact details, photo and anything else you choose. Agencies send blind CVs so the client judges skills and experience first, and so the candidate isn’t approached directly before the agency has introduced them. TalentVeil creates blind CVs automatically: your branded candidate profile, with the personal details hidden. When you’re ready to introduce the candidate, the same profile shows their name.

Questions agencies ask us
Is a blind CV the same as an anonymised CV?
Yes, in practice. Both remove the details that identify the candidate. “Blind CV” is the usual term in recruitment; “anonymised CV” is more common in HR and GDPR contexts.
Read the full guideCan I choose what is hidden?
Yes. Name, contact details and photo are removed in a blind CV, and you decide how employer names appear. Your recruiter can edit anything else before sharing.
Does the AI change or invent information?
TalentVeil works from what is in the CV. You choose how close to the original the wording stays, it flags anything it couldn’t read clearly, and your recruiter reviews and edits every profile before it’s shared.
We already use an ATS. Do we need to replace it?
No. Keep it. TalentVeil handles the client-ready profile and the shortlist your client opens. Profiles can move between TalentVeil and your ATS through our API, n8n workflows, Zapier or Make, if your ATS plan includes API access.
Which languages?
The profile can be produced in 25+ languages, whatever the language of the original CV.
Can I use my own template?
Yes. Build it yourself, or we set it up with you on the Business plan and above. One organisation can hold several templates, for example one per client.
Where is candidate data processed?
In the EU. You can download our data processing agreement (DPA) and read it before you upload a single CV.
